There are companies and organizations that provide storage units to store belongings and things. The companies provide security and safety, yet, customers have to lock the storage unit by themselves. There are different types of storage  units in which some of them provide space to keep belongings while some are used to keep vehicles. A person can avail the space as long as they want. Some of the types are:

1. Outside storage: In outside storage, people use plots or storage plot to store their RVs, cars, bikes or boats. The wire mesh is used to do partition of the area you have used. However, outside storage fails to protect your things from rain and storm.
2. Indoor storage: As the name suggests, the customers are provided units of varying sizes to store their items. They can use space to park cars or store other items.  Yet, you need to talk to management if your item needs a specific temperature.
3. Mobile storage: There are companies that send a unit to your home to place things. These units are called pods that provides mobile storage facilities. You can store your furniture there when you are painting your house. The companies can provide you pods for the desired time. They give you serviced of moving them to the desired place as well.
4. Drive-up storage: Drive-up storage is 10-by-15 foot area to store all your belongings. It looks like garbage storage. However, you will need to ask the management if you want to park car or vehicle in that space. Drive-up storage units come in different sizes. They have roll-up doors like the doors of garbage storage. You can talk to warehouse for storage in Dubai as well to store your things.
5. Transit storage: Transit storage is all storing belongings in the truck- the company has given to you. It provides you access to your things all the time like in mobile storage. The truck can be provided for longtime or you can avail the services till weekend.
6. Self-storage: The companies provide storage units to people to stay. The units are very small. They can live there either for a day or a month. You don’t have to pay a lot of money to stay there. Yet, a lot of furniture cannot be adjusted there.
